This machine is impressive in that it features Marvel or Star Wars faceplate designs. If you love embroidery and superheroes, this is the way to go.

The touchscreen is 3.2 inches and is in full color. 4”x4” is the most popular embroidery design size, and this is the workspace you will get with this great machine. You can preview the designs right on the touchscreen before you begin working.

2. Brother SE1900

It is an excellent combination of sewing and embroidery to save money and space in the process.

There are heaps of great features on this machine, including a large 3-inch touchscreen, a speed of 850 stitches per minute, and a massive workspace of 5″x7″. It is much larger than some of the other machines and great for those bigger projects.

There are 240 built-in stitches and ten frame shapes. There are 11 fonts to choose from and 8 different sewing feet that come with it. You get buttonhole, monogramming, zipper, zigzag, button fitting, overcasting and blind stitch, plus embroidery feet.

Lastly, I love that you can insert your USB into the port on this machine and bring in your own designs.

3. Janome Memory Craft 400E

It is a quality machine that has an excellent touchscreen feature, an automatic thread cutter, and an advanced needle threader as well. You will love making use of the 160 included designs as well as the 6 fonts for monogramming use.

I like that you can monogram in 2 and 3 letters. The max size for embroidery is huge-7.9″ x 7.9″. It would be ideal for those of you that need a massive workspace for your designs.

The screen does all you need to perfect your designs: you can rotate, flip, reduce or enlarge the size, and more.

4. Singer Quantum Stylist 9960

You can buy this machine as is, or with some handy accessories, too! This one is computerized and will have you dreaming of what you want to make next. It features heaps of stitches, plus a good selection of fonts to make embroidery fun.

It features an automatic needle threader, and it takes just seconds to get this started and get working. And, the accessories that come with this machine are incredible. You get many feet: one for blind hems, one for button sewing, one for rolled hems…and on and on.

No matter what fabric you are working with, you will have an easy time turning them into the projects you envisioned with these great pressers.

5. Brother PE800

This one is one to watch for because it got a Women’s Choice Award in 2018 for being a top embroidery machine! And, the reasons are many-there is a large LCD touchscreen for design perfection, 138 built-in designs, and a USB port to bring in your own designs.

The design editing of the PE800 is fantastic because you can mirror image, rotate, and increase/decrease design size. I would say this one is best for large embroideries, as the field is 5″x7″, much bigger than the 4″x4″ workspaces we have seen.

You get more fonts, too-11 in this case. Plus, there is an automatic needle threader, and you will always see your workspace thanks to the bright LED-lit work area.

6. Singer 9970

Here we have one with all the standards-automatic needle threader, plus a top drop-in bobbin system, which makes setup a breeze. This one has 600 stitches, and 13 buttonhole styles included, plus 5 different fonts!

The little things really matter, and the fact that this machine has an automatic thread cutter is super. It trims off the upper and lower threads once you get done sewing. It also has an electronic autopilot plus speed control to keep you in control and keep your sewing free of mistakes.

Users made all kinds of things using this great machine! I will say if you are a quilter, look into this one. Not only can it embroider for you, but also handles thicker fabrics like denim well. The body of this machine is beautiful and heavy; it will stay put as you work.

7. Brother PE535

The first thing I noticed about this machine is that the warranty is 25 years. This embroidery machine is great whether you are just starting, or you are a veteran of the sewing hobby. There are 80 designs plus fonts and borders included with the machine.

This one also has a beautiful 3.2-inch LCD touchscreen. You can see your design in color before you stitch it. You can even import your own designs using a USB drive.

Like the other machines, this features an automatic needle threader. You will also love the 4″ embroidery field-this is the most popular size for such designs.

8. Brother PE550D

This one also features one of those fantastic touchscreens measuring 3.2 inches. You get a great 4″x4″ embroidery space and 125 designs to enjoy, including Disney themes!

There are also lace, holiday, and designs for kids. The editing feature on this machine really makes it stand out as you can mirror image, move, rotate, or resize the design before you start the embroidery process.

The LCD screen is all in color. It is so easy to change the thread color using the included palette and then even preview it before you start stitching. There is an automatic needle threader, which is excellent for those designs with many thread changes!

And lastly, I love that this includes a USB port so that you can bring over your own custom designs.

9. Brother SE600

It is the sewing machine of the future! It has a touch screen, a 4×4 embroidery area, and a big 3.7-inch touch screen. The embroidery features here are amazing. You get change and preview thread colors. You can place lettering on arcs and move the designs on the screen.

You can actually import your own embroidery designs using the USB port on the side.

There are 103 stitches available and some auto-sized buttonholes. There are six fonts that you can choose from to easily make your embroidery look perfect.

This machine also comes with the foot controller right in the box, and seven additional sewing feet. There is even one for monogramming, which I use quite often when making my hankies!

10. Singer Superb EM200

This sewing machine comes with 200 different embroidery designs and also features an automatic needle threader. You can also get projects done rather quickly using this machine thanks to the 700 stitches per minute speed.

The touchscreen does lack color, which is annoying when trying to preview designs before the embroidering begins.

However, the machine does come with a huge work area of nearly 8 inches. The workspace is well lit with the Staybright LED Lights, and you can work large designs with ease.

It does come with the large and small embroidery hoops, an embroidery foot, screwdriver, needle plate screwdriver, seam ripper, and much more. For heavy-duty work, this cannot be beaten.
